The 9th Meeting of the Steering Committee/Sub-Committee of the ECC, held on 22^nd August 2009 in PSO House Karachi. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Naveed Qamar, Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Mr. Shaukat Tarin,  Mr. Aslam Raisani Chief Minister Balochistan, Federal Finance Secretary, Petroleum Secretary, Chief Secretary Sindh, MD Inter-State Gas Company and other officials of concerned ministries.The meeting discussed in detail the status with Iran and the Conditions Precedents (CPs) of IP Gas Sale & Purchase Agreement, project funding requirements, project implementation and provided further policy guidelines for progress on the project.
