The 8th Meeting of the Steering Committee/Sub-Committee of ECC on gas import projects held on 9th July 2009 to review the progress on the project management strategy and related issues.

A detailed summary containing the overall project management strategy, project structure, financing etc and options for alternative route through sea were tabled by ISGS/MPNR for policy guidelines.

The committee held discussions in detail and agreed with the recommendations of ISGS/MPNR on project management and that in addition to on-shore route option, alternative route options through sea should also be explored.
