An Iranian delegation visited Pakistan during 31^st August-3^rd September 2009 for discussions on the IP gas pipeline Operations Agreement. After four days of extensive negotiations, the Operations Agreement was initialed the on 3^rd September 2009 and was frozen to be signed by the counterparties at mutually agreed date.Iran-Pakistan Gas Sale and Purchase Agreement (GSPA) envisage completing certain Conditions Precedents (CPs) to make the GSPA effective. One the IP GSPA CPs, is counterparties concluding an Operations Agreement to agree on operational modus operandi for flow of Iranian gas towards Pakistan.
